My Freshwater setup. Lots of pictures!!!

Yea, Its a Green sunfish.. Somehow came in with the Rosyreds at my LFS.. There was 3 Very small. They gave them to me. I plan on letting 2 go in a pond nearby in the summer. Lots of LMB and Bluegil in there so they should do good. Been keeping two of them in my 30g feeder.. So far the big one I posted gets along with eveything.. He...or she has a very big appetite. Growing fast..

I love the sunfish. I would love to keep a native. Do they do pretty well at 80-84? Is the pond public or private?

Umm i dont know abt u guys but some of those closeup pics show white specks on the tank glass. n well i might be wrong but i think that they r worms. u know the type that comes from fresh meat or sumfin. i used to have it before wen i had my Snake head tank. later i found out that they emerge wen eva i feed frozen tuna chunks before its completely defreezd. maybe the case here too???

I had a smallmouth bass in with my assorted "monsters" at 80 degrees and it was fine.

I think what you are seeing is small air bubbles, no worms or white specs on the glass.

I keep the temp at 77, But they would do fine at 80-85. Its a private pond.

What a good idea... When I get out of this appartment and get a house, Im getting a 150. After I get the bigger TV though..
