Thanks guys this is what I've figured. I've caught her drinking from my 10 gallon and if anyone saw when I had mentioned she scared my African butterfly fish from jumping out and ended up eating most of him. She never goes near my bigger tanks like that, the one my friend thinks she can somehow fish my baby bichirs out is a 30 gallon wide.
Idk where he got this idea lol, like yeah, cats will go fishing but I don't think any fish would be able to miss a cat jumping on top and not go hide haha. Plus the cat wouldn't be able to see the fish, it would have to get one paw in, pin a slimy little fish against the side, then manage to get the fish in-paw over the overhang of the lid. It just doesn't seem possible unless it was a very shallow tank or a pond to me. He seemed pretty convinced my cat is going to murder my fish one day though
