Thanks for the Post. Im curious to learn a something. What things do you see that say male and female on those fish? Im trying to figure out what it is I need to look for.

Thank you for the compliment. Wait till I post the rest of my fish pics and video. So many very nice fish.

That BB is one of my favorites as well!

because that GT have extra blue glaze at the face. Males are sharper lines with out glazing

And festaes: The males body and snout is longer than female. And rich yellow/green on the body though he's lacking spangles.

to me I can do a good guess by fins too. Males often have bigger broader fins in balance to the body than females.

for example: Right now I have 2 baby Umbees. One have bigger fins(3" male) and one with rounded up shorter fins and big body (4" female).

Interesting. Ive got another Saum I will try and get a picture up of. See if you think its male or female. If they are both females Looks like Im ordering a pair if True green terrors. I think I may just do that anyhow. I do have a buddy thats going to be taking some of these that Im not keeping off of my hands. He doesnt mind if he ends up with all females.

Here are some more pictures. These are of a couple more tanks that Ive got my fish spread out in. Again sorry for the low quality pics as its just some quick shots from my phone. In these two tanks ive got the rest of all my Vieja species. Along with the other Saum/GT and both my little Red Tiger Moto's. They are starting to color change and some you can start to tell what species of Viega they are. The tank with the Saum/GT are a little bigger at around 3 to 3.5 inches. The others are all still pretty small ranging from 2" to 3", With only one or two maybe at the bigger size. These fish are about to go into the 90 gallon grow out while the others move to the 125g's and the 180g. As they get bigger I will move them up in tank size. They are very active. Very eager to come to the front of the tank and the glass and they eat very well. Again feeding them NLS pellets.

This is GT# 2

Worked on one of my grow out 125g's this weekend. Got the tank drilled at the back and then painted the back all black. Got my beananimal overflow started to install and plumed. Building my Overflow from acrylic to cover the PVC tubes and skim the water surface. This week im going to take one of my 55 gallon tanks ive got sitting around and build a complete sump with mechanical and bio filtration. Im going to do 2 sock filters with quick change holders im building myself then into a heater chamber for the heaters and then overflow on a mechanical pad filter then through the drip tray down the bioballs (ive got like 30 gallons of em) then into the open sump section where the Laguna 2000 will be sitting to pump it back at around 1300 - 1400 gph. I like alot of turnover as well as want the tank good and healthy so I chose to do a larger sump for the 125. Should be good. Next will be my other few tanks to set up like this. 90 gallon tank will be getting the beananimal with black background and a 38 gallon sump. Another 125g with another 55g sump and bean animal and my 180g the same. I hope to have all these (along with working on my 250 and 350 set ups that are in the works) Im planning on a few fish to house. Making sure ive got room to move them around.

PLUS ive got 2 new fish on the way from Rapps. Cant wait for those.

Just trying to have fun and enjoy.
