thats not funny at all that just means you should be keeping fish i had lots of gars and never had that many problem as a matter of fact no problems far from funny maybe someone show call animal police on you ban you from have anymore fish damn shame maybe i should break your back twice and lock you up in a close and laugh at you in pain

Half of this post didn't even make sense.

Hope the Gar starts looking better.
Good luck.

I still don't understand how that is funny to you, your fish is in pain.
Now everyone doesn't have to bash him on it, I mean the fish is the one who broke his back not the TS. When I had a gar I would line the sides of the tank with plants of some sort to protect him from hitting the glass.

That's the most typos I've ever seen in one sentence, before you flame someone...learn how to type please.

i actually dint do anything. it all happens at night. i dont even know how it happens. my tank was totally bare except for the sand as substrate. i think he tried to get my bala shark and ended up hitting the glass. now that is not my fault. and that food it choked on was for the aro and i dont know what happened yesterday night that it stayed limp in the morning.the whole day my gar is normal.it always does something at night. sorry for the bad heading

i get the bad heading;) but what i was really concerned about was why were additional precautions not added since he broke his back the first time. cheers:)

IMO,HOUSE IT BY ITSELF BRO. IT WOULD BE MUCH HAPPIER.

Lol actright1 has seen one too many episodes of animal cops.

Heck, I kept a gar with a bunch of agressive fish, and he never broke his back. Then again he was never in anything with transparent walls.

A little rough shape. Poor Gar. Hope it fully recovers. The second time my gar escaped from its tank, found it bone dry on the floor, through it back in the tank, floated around lifelessly for 2 days, then miraculously started moving. Thought he was a goner.
They are really tough fish, so it should heal up o.k.
