i agree about the skinny fh. they end up looking long if they aren't fed enough. i like them fat anyway. the first one has really red fins already. they both look male to me too. from the pics you posted. not that i am an expert.

hope you dont end up like me. thinking you got female and male and end up 2 males. lol
some females have bigger kok's then males from what ive seen it gets confusing sometimes.
 
if indeed one of them is a female and you are lucky enough to breed them, then you would most likely end up with offsprings which look similar to this pair you posted. no offense but to my newbie eyes, i dont think this is a good pair to work with - except if you just want to experience breeding FHs. just my 2-cents

lol they are at 2.5 inch .you never know bro lol.
 
at 2.5 inches, my male in my avatar did not look like anything special and I never would have considered breeding him. Give it time. Your FHs could change significantly in a matter of months. If/when they do, please post pics!
