i say just feed it normal amounts and let nature takes its course. Overfeeding or power feeding it so that it becomes obese and look the way you want it to can't be healthy for the fish.

true but its not that i powerfeed this one,its just it hogs most the food! i got like other bichirs in there and other monster fish who eat pellets too so i gotta put alot too make sure everybody gets food
