No way in hell. They arern't like corys, plecs etc, these are fish that are mid/bottom and mine is always racing for his share of the food.
 
Sounds alot like mine. In my 120 gallon (60 in x 18 in) I have:

1 13 in Oscar
1 8 in JD
1 8 in GT
2 cons
1 chocolate cichlid
1 rainbow cichlid
1 Raphael stipe cat

I do a 75% wc once a week and never touch 20 ppm in nitrate. You should be great. I like the mix, it has worked great for me.

nice like the gt and jd and your con is realy dark or is that someone else(last pic at the bottom infront of the stone/bogwood)
