Good deal! I find 125 gallons for free and 55 gallons for free all the time on Craigslist. I just don't have the space for it.

Biggest steal was a 540 gallon tank for 200$ with sump system. Only thing was acrylic was in horrible shape but a buff and some tlc can bring it back to life.

Tanks are cheap for the most part. There was a guy local selling a 1500 gallon tank but the only issue was that you had to disassemble it lol it was 5k so a pretty good price considering. The builders custom made it brought in the panels to his home and installed it. The guy was selling his house and his realtor told him get rid of it since a lot of buyers were taken back by it[/

Lucky, in my region I have never seen anything over 240g being offered for sale 2nd hand, back in the day I used to be on the look out 24/7.

I never see anything like that on CL in my area. I have saved keyword searches and emails are auto sent to me whenever somethings new comes up. Everything seems so overpriced in my area... Except that 55g...

Tanks are cheap for the most part.

The consensus, from readings from MFK and other fish forums, seems to be that the asking prices on CL is very much based upon the region of a country. South Cal seems to have the best value for buyers. My region is typically high with a bargain every once in awhile.

My best score was a 90 sump for $0.......which I reconverted into a native tank
