Awesome vid! They look like they've been fighting a LOT. I can't wait to see your pack all grown out!

I can't wait to have a pack of my own again. :D

Yeah thats just how they are when you have more than one. Ripped fins and missing scales is normal the vatf use to leave gashes in all the goliaths but so far no gashes but thanks Chicx can't wait dude. I been reading that taft thread of yours and I am pretty happy with having 2 taft that without a doubt are taft

Yup, that's the same with mine. Slashes and torn fins all the time. Although I'm down to two VATF and one GATF now. Two of my VATF's committed suicide the other night. We'll see if the aggression goes down with less fish bunched together.

Yeah they are very different than the "traditional" vittatus that I have. Well what ever they are I'm glad I bought two of them. Ill continue to post pictures as they get bigger

Danny, I just want to give you a heads up that I'm gonna be moving some posts from this thread into the vatf/tatf discussion thread when I get a chance to get on a PC again. I want to try to keep relevant discussions to this subject there.

I have quite a bit to add, but I don't really want to type it all up in the phone lol

Danny,

Could you take some new pics of the TATF and post em up? I'm particularly looking for pics that clearly show the number of scales between the pelvic fin insertion and the lateral line. You've posted several pics of a sufficient quality, but the focus was on the face of the fish. If you could hook me up with this, it will dramatically help to answer the question of what species these mysteries are!
