Odd that the fatf doesn't eat much. It was top dog in my mix. It out ate everything. Even the tarpon.

I will have to take the pics of the three goliaths, they are the worst. One has two gashes that are both about a cm long. Lots of missing scales and ripped fins. I know it's the vatf I've caught him multiple times attacking the others. As you can see in the picture he is flawless

Sucks, thats the nature of the beast! Theres hope though, my Vit was the most aggressive as well and he was smaller than my goliaths .... but as they get larger that sort of agression seems to die down .... mine still nip and chase, but much less and much less damage is inflicted ... also helps that ATF's heal so well, they can look so beat up, then 2 weeks later flawless ... eye injuries are the worst since they dont heal as well, and if bad enough can be permanent .... I was lucky enough to get through without any bad ones, but that was always my biggest concern

My trio of gatf did that. Then one day the big one got the smallest one behind the head and that was it. Trio was a duo and that didn't work.

This is why I only have one ATF now. The one of each concept didn't work out well for me. I introduced the TATF and VATF to the main tank once they were about 5" and Max refused to tolerate them. So I sold them. I miss them dearly, but Max wasn't having it.

I really like the look of the TATF as well ... Its a shame they werent around when I purchased my Goliaths, and that I wasnt too involved with this site and didnt know much .... would love nothing more than to have all the different ATF species, but now that my boys are bigger that ship has sailed ..... dont get me wrong, still very happy with the ones I have, and since its virtually a miracle mine didnt kill eachother in the growth process i am very happy ... I guess if I went another route it might have ended in disaster

Yeah my pack was fine they all played nice until I added the vittatus. I will definitely separate each one if I have to. I'm probably gonna try reintroducing them every few weeks or so.

Been there, done that. I kept three separated until they got to be about 7 inches. Reintroduced them and they picked up right where they left off. I think it's just their nature. At that size they're juvenile, (pre-teens). So I think they're still growing. Then when they get to adults they stop fighting.
