My female Electric Blue Acara was beating the male up had to divide them, but you should be fine your female has lots of room to get away when chased.

Well it's been a month since their last spawn and they're back at it tonite. Hopefully more fry will survive this time.

congrats on the spawning! i have two that paired up about a week ago and they keep showing signs that they are going to spawn but have not yet.. any advice?

Just let nature take it's course, and be patient.

Update on the eggs. None of them were fertilized. All were white and started get to fungus on them. Don't know why the male didn't fertilize them this time. Hopefully better luck next month.
