yea I’m gonna get all the gravel out and switch over to sand soon.
I'm sure they will appreciate it, in the wild they have sand or sediment to sift through and many of them spend a lot of time at it. They try to do it with gravel, but it's not the same and it's possible for them to be hurt by getting gravel stuck in their throats. Had to rescue one years ago and pry out a piece of gravel-- before I converted all my tanks to sand. Now I like sand better anyway, easier to take care of imo.

Also sure you will enjoy seeing them grow and color up , etc. Video says it's a grow-out tank. Will they end up in a larger tank?

I’m just waiting to find some nice red sand......... seems like all the stores around me in a 30 mile radius aren’t getting any supplies right now..... seems like the local fish stores are just focusing on live stock.... I’m noticing that their food is old stock.... except Petco and PetSmart....
