It is just not a good idea .....I would of already put a girls head though it:ROFL:
You guys are naughty.

Anyway, I think it's a nice tank and a great set up with the decor and fish.:hearts:

Good Job. Might wanna reinforce the side by putting wood underneath though like the guys said. But good idea.. if u can get past the water changes without, you know, wetting your bed ? :naughty:

Nice tank dude! How do you sleep through the filter noise? AND not to mention the 'splashing' of the water from the outlet of the filter when the water level drops...

I like the pics of the jack dempsey's. at the risk of sounding like an idiot, what kind of fish is that in the 6th picture?

filter isn't loud at all really. i can't fall asleep in pure silence anyhow, it's a ritual for me to put on an episode of seinfeld to fall asleep to.....and i keep the water level up high enough so it doesn't splash coming from the outlet.

and when i got a girl over?....there's enough room from the end of my mattress to the tank itself. i have the tank sitting back about 9 inches from the mattress ( i thought about that problem while setting it up.).

and for everybody telling me to reinforce the sides.....i don't think i need it. it's not sitting on a stand either, it's two very strong end tables. there's also a gap in the middle the same size of what's hanging off of either end. i'm a big man, 6'1 and 300 pounds. my cousin (who's a bit smaller) and i got on top of one of these suckers and jumped up and down and they don't give one bit. the glass....i don't know, i didn't jump on it lol. but here are some better pictures showing exactly what i mean....
