Ok so i was starting a 30 gallon long to go in our living room so i get it set up and get ready tp put water in it when she tells me she hats the look of it. So i ask her what she wanted me to do. So she says and i quote " I think we should get a 75 gallon. No a 120 gallon or how about a 200 gallon." :DI couldnt beleive it. But i knew there was a catch. "But i want to pick the fish":(. So she started naming all these fish so i told her that she should make a list of all the fish she liked and i would try to figure out a nice what fish would be compatible and could go in the tank. This is the list she gave me. Anybody want to helpme out i have no clue now what to put in the tank.

What kinda tank size are you planning on?

Yeah! What size? 30, 75, 120, or 200???

the eels will fight, the ghost knifes will fight, the chocolate gouramis are too hard to look after and will get eaten by the oscars, lungfish get huge, the elephantnose will get electrical pulse problems with ghost knifes causing both lots of stress, the ram will get eaten, the butterfly fish may get eaten and choke whatever eats it, the pikes and/or green terrors will take over the tank, and it goes on. its a bad mix.

Your not understanding. Im trying to figure out a good compatible mix oout of this list. Im not stupid, i wouldnt even think about putting all those fish together.

his question is what out of those fish would work together not all of them together. You can keep the eels fire and tire track together. along with the BGK and clown knife. Unsure about a gold line knife never owned 1. Also the elephant nose would be fine with the rest in a 200 gal. Butterfly fish ,kissing grouramis, both types of bichirs and the plecos would also be ok. As long as you provide enough hiding spots.

Some of the fish listed though are very aggressive and will eat alot of the ones that stay smaller. So next question would be a few big fish or alot of medium sized fish?

Get a pair of cobra pikes in a 200 solo and breed them!
