good point, Yeah, i forgot that she could play within the music if you get what i mean, Like, in the groove, and in the feel.

But it did sound pretty good, Looks like they were just jamming on stage (would have been sweet if they were, but they would've written it all down before hand and practiced.

That's what I look for in most music, considering I play jazz guitar as well as metal, blues, funk, and flamenco.

She is touring with Jeff Beck right now. Her resume of artists she's played with is impressive!!! That whole solo she did, as well as most of Beck's soloing, is all improve. It's an actual song he wrote, but what they do is play around the basic chord progression of the song. There's also a lot of communication between musicians like this.

I do that a lot with taylor (a guy a jam with), I know this wasn't what you were really intending, but, it's along the same line - he'd play a progression of chords of his choice, then he'd tell me the notes, then I'd find a scale, with those notes in it comfortably, and I'd make a awesome bass solo, and it would sound awesome, and everyone in the music block at school would come watch us.

Disregard my first post, I didn't put the time in thinking properly. :)

That's always a lot of fun!!! I do that with a few of my buddies whenever I can. There's actually a group of friends i get together and jam with back at home. My brother's a part of the group, so it gets pretty twisted sometime. We actually wrote a song called "Lollipops and Genocide". It's the weirdest thing I've ever heard. I need to find a way to post it on here.
