My Gold Arowanas

Most of the guesses are correct, congrats. The fishes displayed are roughly 18 to 20 inches (50 cm). Age is 2 and half years.

Suffice to say that I was fortunate enough to have been at the right place at the right time, to be able to bag some really good specimens from a reliable and reputable arowana farm in Malacca.

Foodwise, I rely on bullfrogs and frozen fish fillet as the staple. I will be modifying the diet to increase shrimp offered to the fishes as I feel that the fat content of shrimp is not as high as other food. The other driving factor is also that my arowanas love shrimp, therefore, it would boost the size of the fishes that are fussy on food and as a result have fallen behind in size and growth.

Good to hear so many approving comments, I feel inspired to take better care of these arowanas under my charge. It is also my belief that the fishes will improve in the gold tone as they mature.

YUP you my friend are doing a fantastic Job with your Comm of Gold...I speak for alot of us here in the USA, in saying we are envious and only dream of the day we can be in charge of a POT-O-GOLD like yours...:D :D :D
 
=D yea when i get out of school and im 20+ yrs old im leaving america im only 13 now =( thats a long ass time before i can make a goldcomm
