My mum buried a bath tub in the front yard years ago, we had some gold fish in there, then the front yard got overgrown, my parents moved overseas and the bath/pond was forgotten about. Last year I was clearing the front yard and discovered the pond and there was still a huge healthy bright orange gold fish happily living in there! Its still there today and the only attention that pond/bath gets is when I part the knee high grass occasionally to see if its still alive! It has some wart like growths on its head (probably from years of exposure to our Aussie sun!) but other than that its fat and healthy! LOL!

dont you take care of it?

I have only moved back into that house recently after living elsewhere for the last 7 years, it was then that I discovered it and I remember the fish being there when I moved out originally about 7 years previous! I plan on rescaping the front yard and building a proper pond so I'll transplant him then. He seem very healthy so I dont want to touch anything incase it throws something off balance, if it aint broke dont fix it! I think it lives off bugs that fal into the water and algea etc growing in the bath tub!

Do they make color enhancing food for goldfish?
The goldfish with the black fins is a comet goldfish.
I got him from work one day. He was suppose to be a feeder fish but I brought him him instead :-).
His fins looks like they've gotten a little darker since I've taken that picture.
I feed the shubunkin pellet food and the little comet goldfish gets flakes.
he's too small yet to eat the pellets.
I'm feeding him wardley total goldfish. Is that color enhancing?
I don't know the brand name of the pellets I'm feeding them.
I got it in a plastic bag from the pet store I bought the shubunkin at.
