So now compare that with the narrow tapered jaw of mine at 12". There must be a different variety of GATFs. Maybe males are more square jawed and females are more pointed.
This fish has always had a pretty square face.....here is a pic of him younger....I think its also as they get older they get the bulldog face........funny Wes......its already your fish just waiting to get big enough to move to your house

As for head shapes, I'm convinced that there is just a specutrum of possible shapes. I suspect that Tuna's and Sashimi's GATF are at opposite ends of the spectrum. There is nothing in the literature that would indicate that Hydrocynus goliath is sexually dimorphic. This seems to just be a luck of the draw type deal to determine what type of head you get on your fish.
