My Goliath Tigerfish is not eating , any suggestion??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What filtration system are you using? That water doesnt look great. And I dont see a real spray bar other than on that little 20 gallon internal filter thing. You definitely need current and decent water. Try lowering light levels. They dont live like that tank in nature.

First of all you need to STOP messing with the tank... you will only give it stress.

if i were you .. i would net those feeders out.. and use something smaller.. such as rosie red(20) or guppies (50)... then i will turn off the light... and just let it be.. don't mess with it...

once it relax.. it will start eating..

btw.. what kind of filter? your water doesn't look good...

I agree with the guy above in saying you to stop messing with the tank. That's just going to stress the more. I think that filter is fine the size they are now. If your gona add a lot of live feeders I would upgrade. Keep an eye on your nitrate levels an they should be fine.

Iv fished for these and kept them, You need relatively fast moving water they always in fast moving streams that's how they hunt. Don't worry about feeding they take long to adjust keep the light off too.

man, that filter....... you need to upgrade the filtration. that internal filters not going to cover up 4 GTFs

My Payara didn't eat for 37 days... It actually went even longer. I started counting after the first few days.
They are just on hunger strike. they'll eat again once they are starving.
