throw in 3 large male convicts like around 4", that way the grammy wont kill just one, all of their anger is spread out and it ends up working out. Also convicts are very active and attentice almost like little oscars, so they will all come up to the glass when you walk by the tank thus bringing out the grammode, also at feedign time he has no choice but to come out and fight for food so just do that and i have no doubt he will come around in a month.

I have some f1 barred midas around his size I might throw him in with. I just don't want any fatalities.
give him time he is still pretty small. from what i have heard they become more personable as they reach larger sizes.
My female salvini is like that. Dithers don't work either, because she could care less. Once in awhile she'll come out to flare her gills at the convict and firemouth. Nice looking fish, do you have a lot of hiding spots? I think I have too many.
through him in another 55 without any decor that currently houses 2 flowerhorns and a small pair of f1 barred midas. Lets hope he doesn't kill them.

I just bought a baby Midas from Pruess..... G*d D*m it.
I told you I saved a pair! I think I'm going to keep them and get rid of the saggitae anyways. I will grow out the saggitae fry and breed them again in a year.
