The HITH really isn't that hard to keep them from gettin. You just gotta make sure you keep the water quality pristine, feed them good, and your all set. My first batch before my heater stuck and fried them, had NO HITH...and they were 8" +...;)
Now that must have been a sight.

Bogwood - As for which tank to move him into - he can hold his own against pretty much anything, but if everyone seems to be happy at the moment, don't worry too much. When (or if) the Tilapia starts chasing, that's when to get him out.
Seems you have been getting some really nice pickups lately.

Thanks mate, last night i notiec him chasing my small dats so i took him out and moved him into a 6x2x2 with some metynnis and myleus he likes the extra space.

Bob P has a trio of F1 parrots up on Aquabid. The male is 14". Awesome fish. Too bad I have a $20 limit per fish...they're $55 each out here.
