Can this be done on a small scale? like in an aquaium? or does it need to be a large ratio of water to fish?

Thank you all.

Off course it can be done in one aquarium. It all depends in the quantity of water and fish.

Last year i had one aquarium only with plants and all fries of cichlids i caught in my tanks and pounds i putted in there. And i kept all the fishes in there all Summer, with no problems. Next year i'm going to do the same thing.

Like i said, you must take care with the racio water/fish. I can't tell you the numbers of this racio, because i think the experience will tell you. You should try it slowly. A fish at a time.
This way you don't risk to do something stupid and kill all your fish.

If you need something else please ask.

Thank you.

Another actualization of the outside tanks.
