Great updates! Just got back last week from my cruise and didn't have much time to spend in Lisbon. We did visit Sintra and Cascais and they were beautiful. I would definitely go back to spend more time in Portugal, beautiful country!

It is, isn't it?:)

This weekend i didn't take picts. I didn't do nothing new. Only refilled some tanks because of evaporation. There are some new babies and the Red Kadango also reproduced. It's the first time I have reprodutions on this species.

I am thinking, next weekend if all goes as planned, to start covering the GreenHouse.

WOW what an amazing accomplishment you have done. I am so jealous of what beautiful setups you have and the dedication you have is just unbelievable. WAY TO GO!!! keep up the great work!

This weekend I've done some new things and I have some news.

For starting I've added some new species of African Cichlids to my collection, offered by Daniel Santos. Thank you my friend :)

Here they are

added to this tank

which was empty awaiting their first inhabitants.

These are some Pseudotropheus Itungi "Black Tanzania" and some Pseudotropheus Saulosi.

I hope they enjoy the new home and once again, thank you Daniel.

More things ...

I introduced the first rays in the tank created for this purpose.

I will not comment on the state in which they reached the tank. I am furious. Now look:

This is the one in worse condition

This one is a little better, but...

In spite of my desire on returning them, I will try to save. This is due to burns caused by ammonia in the bag.

The appearance of them is this one:

Both are very beautiful and should be about 20cm. They are two females Potamotrygon Motoro.

It's specifically with little water. All this is very new for me and this is a controlled test to confirm my theory that you can keep rays in these conditions. Only I'm very annoyed because they are not in their best conditions.

More photos from the following day

Let's see how this first week turn out. I covered the tank with polycarbonate to keep the water hot.

After the rays episode, despite being very concerned about the same, I began the phase of the coverage of the greenhouse.

I had to weld a few more irons in the ceiling, still missing because I had to disassemble a piece of poli already built, for welding.

It was in this site

and in this one

And so, with the help of my father and my son who was the photographer.

It had to be with extra care for not spoiling the existing polycarbonate.

Here the work already completed.

I realized the work with these auto-perforating bolts, the ideal solution.

The plates have to be very well stuck because in winter the wind is like hell.
