not easy holding the camera with one hand while opening the lid and present the food with the other but.. you get the idea

They are a really interesting (and funny) species to keep.
The tank is a bit on the small side, specially for a group, but will keep a couple confortably I think (its a 80x40x50cms, so 160 lts or 44g). I could have used another slighltly bigger tank I have (extra 20cms/8" long and 40lts/11g total) but I would have to get a new stand (wasn´t willing to) or have 20 cms of the tank not supported and extra 40kgs of weight in this Ikea "structure" (didn´t feel confortable with the idea).
So I ended up using this tank. So far, everything is going on wheels
Should be fine in a tank that size even as a group, like any Channa though once they pair up the others will need a new home.
I'll be putting 7 of them into a 90x30x45cm ~125L tank and it'll be heavily planted, I also have a couple empty smaller 60 & 95l tanks running with feeders keeping them cycled to split any who dont play nice or need a hospital break those sorta things.
I hope to get 2 pairs out of it, I'll be happy with one pair but 2 would be nice, and the plan is to give each pair their own 125l tank of the same dimensions.
