It's crazy what losing two fish does to the group. The kels are back to like the beginning. You can't even do anything near the tank without them freakin out. There close to 9 inches I bet. Figured they would have calmed down by now. Guess not. When I picture this hobby I see relaxing fish tank and being able to interact with the fish. Not tip toeing around the damn tank. Just venting.

give them time. They will get used to you again. There no need to tip toeing around your tank. That's just plain creepy. I would from you too if I see a creep tip toeing around me. Man Shelby I have 2 brokos that are 5" or so and they freak the hell out all the time when I walk in front of the tank. It gets extremely annoying I even had one jump out when he freaked out so I had to cover the tank completely so I understand where you are coming from. In retrospect all of my large bass are far from afraid they even beg for food during a water change. So hang in there

My bass tank is right by the door and my azuls would freak out anytime I had company...one of my azuls would jump almost every single time my parents stopped by.....now they couldn't care less....unless your offering them some grub.
