I only kept bass briefly but I also found that they do so much better with tankmates of other species. My three were pretty freaky, but then I added a black skirt tetra from one of my other tanks and the bass were never better. They ate better, better colors ect.
Thanks Isde! I'm hoping the new additions school with the little snooks because the bigger bass don't even care about them. Current bass are 8 inches and snooks and new additions are about 4ish. Will post pics later if all goes well.

Again my bass are bigger than I thought lol. The new guys are tiny. Sadly I only had one place for them and that was the big tank. Im gonna have too make a divider here at work and hope for the best when I get home at 5... The new little guys went right up to the big boys imediatly and started a little lip lock lol. The bigger one was gentle back it was wierd.

Yeah I had to remove them last night lol. Fins were all tore up from someone. Wasnt worth finding out who. They are now in a ten gallon until they fatten up and start eating pellets. Then Ill try again. Ill try to get a pic tonight but they are scared still. 3 inches and really skinny cause they were on feeders. Gonna go get some cheap dithers and BW tonight to get things going.
