Just got my tracking number!!! Kelberi will be here tomorrow.

Question though. Did you treat yours while they were in quarantine? If so with what? I have Prazi Pro, do you think I should treat them with that for a while before introducing them into my main tank?

Deviant, yeah I treated with prazipro pro for the heck of it. That's all I did :) two weeks worth to be safe. I would quarenteen them to be safe too. Can't wait to see how they come!

Hey shelbybmc how long after you got them did they start to eat the blood worms? Mine haven't even looked at the blood worms yet. Do you think I need to get a couple other fish like the convicts you got or maybe silver dollars? Would that really help? I just don't want to give them live because, well lets just say my local big name store around here doesn't have good looking feeders and I don't trust them. And we don't have any specialized fish stores around here so I don't have access to quality feeders. Maybe I am being worried to soon. Cichla are just new to me and I want to get them eating and healthy.
 
Yeah I never gave live either. It took mine a good couple days before they ate anything, even then it was never fast and furious. The day I put the convicts in there the competition grew and the bass ate much better! Hell even one of my bass didn't eat for 3 weeks now he's the runt of the group. I counted him as a loss already but one day he just switched and started eating. Teacher fish IMO help tremendously. I'm new at this too man but it seems to make a huge difference. I feel pretty confident that these guys would agree as well.
