When do i start to feed them? Give it a few days, like 2-4 days. When their wigglers they don't eat.

How do i feed them? Just crush up some flakes real real fine and drop it in the water and swirl it around, it will fall and the fry will eat it up. They will eat left over food on the ground and etc, also when their a little bit bigger, Give them live brine shrimp, they love that stuff.

What is the ideal temp. for fry? Same as adults.

anything else?
Frequent feedings:D

Feed them about 2-3 days after they start swimming. Try a little to see if they eat. If they eat, feed them more. I recommend newly hatched baby brine shrimp. Feed until they are fat 2 times a day. I keep temps from 80-82.

It takes some time and effort to bring these guys up. But it can be fun as well as challenging. If you have any specific questions, feel free to pm me.

Thank you both, reallybigfish and packer.

All of them still appear to be wiggling around. They have eyes now and the egg sack is almost gone.

I use the First Bites and live micro worms. Since you have a big tank for the fry, try wetting you finger and putting it in the first bites. Roll up what comes out on your finger into a little ball and put that on the bottom near the fry so they wont have to look for it. The stuff is so fine it will fall apart quickly (while you're placing it on the button). It's kind of like target feeding, you make sure the fry can find the food without saturating the tank. Another trick is to lower the water level by 80% and instead of doing water changes add an inch of water every few days.

My GT's spawned last week, protected the eggs and ate the wigglers :(
