My Gulper 8" ate my 5" Pearsie

Yea because a 12" gulper can hear a 6" + wide fish.

I'm toying with the idea of a large wild oscar with my Gulper but after he housed a 5" or so Pearsi I'm worried.

My other idea was like 200+ small 1" fish in his 110 with him.
200+ small fish in a 110 can work...just use the cheaper ones.

lol. gulpers can eat fish bigger than them I think.

Lol, you know what's gonna happen.... Right?

Exactly, pretty much from my title of the thread, I learned the hard way. If the fish was closer to 7-8" high vs being maybe 4" or so it would not have been consumed. The gulper just can't catch a little fish like that without a lot of exertion. The fish simply touched one of the cats barbs and BOOM! It was like what I saw on those video and was just thinking damn that shouldn't have happened haha. But I have seen people keep gulpers with gulpers and gulpers with BIG none aggressive fish, and Gulpers with schools of tiny ones.
