My happy pappy monster!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've never seen anything like this - is it 33 years old? :) Or did you have it built / make it yourself? That's a great footprint.

Its a custom tank, and i've been keeping fish for 33 years. The tank's 15 years old (or so, maybe younger).

It is a great foot print, you're right, thanks! :)

I've only really started liking goldfish in the past month or so and THIS is beautiful!

Thank you. I've moved to virtually 100 per cent goldfish over the last two years. I'm happy with the switch.

Do I miss tropicals? In a way, but the happiness that goldfish exude is worth it!

Not to hijack your thread , but I need some help .
I picked up a beautiful butterfly tail black moor which has velvety scales . My bad that I picked it in low light conditions.
The poor fella had a few spots of ich and in the past 2 days it had increased alot.
Hes in my qt tank with high salt and aeration..
My question: is there a chance post recovery the guy might loose his velvety appearance and get mettalic scales ? I saw that a few scale in the bottom area as are looking mettalic now.
Goldfish experts pl chime in.

Sorry for the hijack , I am sorta very worried rt now.
