thanks for the imput..
i also posted this in the set up and filtration forum.
they say if i keep it..it will keep my ph at right around 7.0 - 7.6 which is perfect.

i have never been to pristine aquariums ..but i would love too..where is it?

side notr. the 125 is filled and has my little fish in it..
in the last week i picked up a wild Oscar and a Pike.
now i just need my rays.....

i went up there today...all the rays were sold. i was bummed.
he said he was getting some motoros next week.
89.99 to 130.00.

so i went ahead and bought a 3" wolf fish and fusion 60 air pump.
