Nice that's so cool I've been wanting to get some from tangle up in cichlids, I'm about to set up a 90 gal for some Severus. Are yours from Jeff rapps?

the male liberifer came from rapps but my notatus and chocolate came from the wetspot

Did you pick up the liberifer from the CCA aquamania this year? If so I believe we met.
i bought the female liberifer with another male she was paired with from a guy here in ohio. He was a private seller who got them from a shop in cleveland the previous year but the male didnt survive the car ride home so i bought another wc from rapps

So the plants in the tank, they're not real are they? I've heard Sev's are voracious herbivores.

I've thought of doing floating plants in a severum tank where only the roots are below water I wonder if they would eat the roots to. Do you give your severums fresh veggies with a clip or something?
They chew up anything plant like so roots likely wont last long. I just toss romaine lettuce in the tank and they just grab and chew

Beautiful fish! I think it's possible your H. notatus are actually H. sp. Inirida. They look exactly like mine.
