My Homemade Canopy Revealed!

Haha thanks a lot guys! And I don't know who it was directed to but I am indeed using 100w florescent bulbs. Much cheaper, way less heat.

And that's no problem at all. The wood was $60 for some prepackaged pine and whiteboard. Then all you have to do is buy hinges and the cheap electrical stuff. I got some quotes from LFS's by me, and they were all like $350-500, so I said eff that.

Hey ive been debating about how to mount lighting in my canopy and thinking about individual leds--am new at this--how did you do that? M concern is that my canopy only opens from the front--2 doors. I mean--did you just use screws into the top?
It looks real good.
 
Haha yes sir! The total cost of this canopy right now is right around $100. I had to buy pretreater, stain, and clear varnish today, along with foam brushes. Here is an update with the first coat of stain on it!

And thunderchicken I have no idea, my uncle did all the electric, sorry. Maybe you can tell what he did from the pics? I can ask him too.
