My homemade filter....

This is the filter I decided to make out of a free jebo protein skimmer. I was quite easy to make I had an extra power head (205 I think) a test plug, and 8 scrubbies.
1. The filter assembled.
2. The parts disassembled.
3. The filter once again.
4. the filter running.
5. the filter running... again.

the concept is there. i suppose its a bio filter? you could add some buffering pads and prefilters into it too

strictly a bio filter. the powerhead has a sponge prefilter on it to keep the shiz out though.

not sure yet it is basically a redundant filter on my 75 I am thinking about using it on a 10 gallon alone to see how it works once I get it seeded.
