They're not really as bad as people say really. I've got 2 malas and a hoplias Microlepis with this lacerdae along with 6 dorados and a goonch. The only fish that causes any sort of trouble is the goonch haha

Alright that's good to know! As long as the Midas will mind it's own business things should be good. I fed him a couple earthworms so far and the lfs I got him from said he was eating massivore. What do you feed your guys?
