Way back in October of 2006 I bit the bullet and did something I've always wanted to do...buy a Green Tree Python. A fair amount of money later, I was left with this.

Taken the first day home.

Fast forward a few weeks and she was settled in nicely.

Until today I couldn't help but noticed how big she's gotten!

With her first birthday coming up on April 4, I can't help but reflect on what a time its been. I came very close to selling her...twice. Thank God for people like Wes and Li who poke fun at me for selling my stuff prematurely. For the past year, this snake has eating every 6 days like clock work. I've never had a snake before this so this proves that GTPs aren't very difficult to care for.

Momma and Poppa are proud!

Cool pics!, thanks for sharing :D

snakes are not something i will own.. not in this lifetime anyway.. i remenber when i lived in Florida a beautiful endigo snake came up through the boards of my deck as i was lounging and he was just awesome..although i was soooo scared.. yours is absolutely beautiful..and really nice watching it grow through the great pictures.. i am glad you never sold her.. she thrives with you.. :)

Wow ! To be honest , when i saw the pics , the first thing that ran
through my mind was, is Mike selling this GTP? Excellent work raising that beautiful snake ! I think i now know what snake i should get should i get
started on it.

those are sooooo nice looking, but, do you hold them at all. 74ray used to have 6 i think, but they were only to be looked at.

Do you ever handle him?

If he becomes nice and holdable...thats a goldmine right there.

I wanted one but cant spend that much money on one haha.
