I handle her sparingly. Being that she is still under a year old, I don't want to risk damage to her fragile spine by frequent handling. But I would consider her tame for a GTP. I've gotten nipped once since I had her and that was because I couldn't find my feeding tongs! I'm actually going to order her a display enclosure (no more rubbermaids!!!!) this weekend. So hopefully I'll have her setup in the said enclosure come time for the oogenic changes.

P.s. Get one with a sliding bottom drawer...it makes life a lot easier and pisses off the snake a lot less!!!

Fast forward a few weeks and she was settled in nicely.
Until today I couldn't help but noticed how big she's gotten!
With her first birthday coming up on April 4, I can't help but reflect on what a time its been. I came very close to selling her...twice. Thank God for people like Wes and Li who poke fun at me for selling my stuff prematurely. For the past year, this snake has eating every 6 days like clock work. I've never had a snake before this so this proves that GTPs aren't very difficult to care for.

What a great looking snake, i used to own a corn snake a while back, i'd love another snake again.
I may add this beauty to my collection next weekend. Greg Maxwell bloodlines...should turn out to be a gorgeous snake.
