that type of frame alway looks stonger than the plywood sheets with brasing.
I'd rather overbuild a frame than worry about a less sturdy one.

thanks everyone for your comments.i do have to give credit where credit is due.my friend chris or botr on here built a pond recently and he criss-crossed 2x4s all the way up.i know its extra money and a little overkill but id rather b safe than sorry.how much would it suck if it broke loose and you had all that water on you floor?
