Is it just me, but are Vieja/Paratheraps mixing becoming similar to the flowerhorn market, but without the fancy titles and doing it purposely?

Vieja are selectively bred as well as hybridized a lot in Thailand.

I agree. one parent is definitely blackbelt. the other is most likely bifa or syn

Thanks everyone. The funny thing is that this fish was sold as a small uncolored synspilium for about $10

Love the hybrid....great tank and great community also. Definitely see "blackbelt" in there as well. I have one with real bright red tail like that.
