My (I mean PeanutPower's) Caquetaia update

I've been holding hostage, Er...I meant to say...fish-sitting a group of Caquetaia myersi for PP until they bulk up a bit. They arrived virtually transparent at less then .5". Here they are hitting the 1" mark. Already these guys are starting to display some aggression towards each other.
Looks like Murphy is at my place again. The only in-focus pic is one after they lightened up from the flash. *sigh* Such is life.

Nice you can see the nips on the tail they are definitely starting to square up to each other.

so its not really a good idea to put them together? I was thinking of geting the 3 at my lfs.

Until 2 pair up they don't tolerate each other very well. I'd split them up but, they don't tolerate other fish very well either.

I just picked up a few C. spectabile and they are nasty. As soon as I got the bag of em, they were lip locking inside. I haven't had any real fights in the tank, but mysteriously, Some of the smallest ones (they ranged from .5" - 2") are missing

I put several dither fish in the tank to break the myersi's attention from each other. So far, it's working.

they were too small for my tank so I skipped em for now. How fast do they grow, might empty out my 30 to put one in?
