I put several dither fish in the tank to break the myersi's attention from each other. So far, it's working.

What type of dither did you put in with them? I was thinking about adding some Buenos Aires tetras or something like that.

I didn't want to go with dithers that occupy the same zone in the water column. So, I added about 8 pleco/ancistris growouts. The myersi can't hurt the plecs and the darting movements of the plecs draws the attention of the myersi so they're not always focusing on each other and sparring.

OMGGGGGGGGGGG that is so hot...lol

is there any chance some of those guys will be up for sale?

nice work oddball. i've never seen these before so i looked them on online. They look pretty bad ass. Here's a pic of them bigger. SWEEEEEEEEEEEET:headbang2

I put some nicaraguans in there with them and they have to wory about the nics nipping them now(most aggressive nics I ever kept). So no more fighting.

I'm about ready to just ditch my other fish except for the parrots to make room for the little buggas. Still worried though about them gettin sucked down the intake, as I lost two of my spectabile that way. Now I'm down to two males, four of the krobia, and all twelve of the parrots. Festivums are in Magans tank as they were getting beat up.

Thats how i found out Herbert was ready to start eating fish...oy. Put my specs. in there to try and nurse them back, next morning they were gone but for a few floating scales. I thought she had a couple more months before she started ingulfing my fish, but i was wrong. At least any dead fish don't go to waste now...:P.
