Thats a nice tank! cant wait to see more pics!! great job

I loved that I could just let it do its thing and only change the filter twice a year, I recently removed my drip system for maintenance, and have personally decided I prefer once a week water changes because its more effective then a drip system.

How did you decided to handle the temp of the water fill line? do you have both hot and cold hooked up to that line and then just turn them both on to get the right temp. I recently found I had been doing it wrong for a while, I would turn both the hot and cold on full blast thinking it was coming out the right temp.

I only put a cold water line.. i didnt want to take a chance of using hot water directly into tank because of all of sudden got really hot it would be too late because water is goin into tank directly not a bucket.. so i decided i rather do smaller water changes more often.... or on like a saturday do a water change in the am let it settle and warm up.. then again at night ... well see havnt really worked out the exact way i will be doing it.
