Great looking tank. TFH last issue had article about shrimps in planted tank.

How high will the dwarf hair grass grow if not trimmed?

When I first put it in, I didn't trim for a few weeks because first I wanted it to root well, and it grew to about 5-6 inches. Maybe it would have gotten taller, but I trimmed it at that point.

the black background is nice , but the glare from your lights might be too bright , maybe put something black and cover it

The glare is only when I take pictures, I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

Thanks I was looking for something that stayed 3 inches more or less looked like (lawn type look) that but again stayed at 3 inches w/o trimming.

It should stay around there under the right conditions. Now that mine has carpeted, it's been staying around 2-3 inches, but it will grow taller without trimming.
