and correct, the nose area...a beak referring to the fact that his nose curves properly as a 'C' would, his dorsal leads to his mouth, and his mouth leads to his underside in one smooth pattern...
And here is a beak, where it is not a smooth pattern, but has a significant drop off between the eye and dorsal area--this is just a small case, there are way worse
