Hmm..sounds like I should try some worms. Just wondering, you feed 15 large pellets? Because I've been using the medium size

yeah i feed large ones, so i guess it about evens out between them, for 1 feeding, but i still only feed once a day. when he hits 11-12" i'd start him on large pellets.

Reduce, I meant lower the amount of light, floating plants etc. Cut back I meant by only having 5 hours a day. for example.

He actually tends to eat only when there is lighting. Prior to the current hunger strike, I'd drop pellets in with the lights off and he would be a bit ambivalent about eating.
