My jags just spawned!!!!!!

Good luck with your jags and eggs, bboy.

My second breeding pair of jags are getting frisky right now. The crazy male has been banging the female all over the tank. She is trying to lay her eggs along the vertical side of the plastic tree stump I have in the tank. She is trying so hard, but the male keeps smacking her off the stump. If they settle down and do their deal, I hope to put in a tank divider to prevent the male from chowing down on the eggs. I am sure that he will get all pissed off.

Hey everybody sorry about being away from the board for a while but things just have been crazy around here. The first set of eggs got to wigglers and then all of a sudden they were all gone. They laid eggs again 2 days ago so lets see what happens. In the tank with them are 3 CAE, an unknown Pleco, and a raphael. I keep one light on all night to keep the nocturnal guys at bay. One of the parents are always with the eggs (usually mom) and when its feeding time one stays with the eggs and the other brings food. Hopefully this time they wont disapear on me.

Allright the pleco is gone they laid eggs for a third time!!! Lets see how these go. If they live ill probably end up selling some on ebay and aquabid. If you live around gurnee, IL we can work something out. I hope this time it goes good!!!
