The longer you keep him, the harder it will be to give him up. Also the sooner you get your Jaguar, he'll just be that much larger with time passed. Good luck whatever your decision.

you seem to think I could a little money for him. what do you think hes worth at 5", and at maybe 10". i think the lfs only charged me $2 because it was so small and didnt think it would survive.

Same thing happened to me bought a pair of jags and only one turned out to be a jag other was a dovii
id keep him and save my money for a bigger tank.. dovii are awesome fish ...if u keep him alone ull b ok with like a 120 4 by 2 by 2 .....i talked to rapps about this and he told me i would b ok in that tank if he is housed alone , but i got a bigger tank and a female so ....its up to u what u do .. i had jags and dovii ... imo dovii r a cooler fish ..even with the jag u will in time need a bigger tank so take ur time think it out and make ur move .....good luck man
