In case you haven't read my other threads, I had to put my tat in with my jar and the jar would get scared and get torn fins and lose scales quickly, so I divided the tank in two.

Well, as of a couple days ago, my 55 was divided in two with the jar and black lancer on one side and the marbled goby and tat on the other. The jar never bothered the catfish, but I moved it out the other day (did some rearranging). Tonight, I cleaned the tank and decided to try taking the divider out. Boy, was that a mistake. The darn jar started "investigating" the tat and finally WHAM! rammed the tat and knocked quite a few scales off. :irked: Needless to say, I put the divider right back in.

I haven't had any target fish in there since I took the tinfoils out, because everything I put in there, the goby would eat (they would squeeze through the divider or something). I just got some Congo Tetras to grow out to put in with it, but I need something else quick, so I'm going to put a couple rescue fish (from someone else) in that my mom wants to get rid of and see what happens (blue gourami, gold gourami, longfin black skirt tetra - all ugly, dispensable fish IMO).

ha ha ok now i get it
yeah jars can be like that
like normally i always see him running away when my RTCs fight during dinner time
but yesterday the 2 of them actually took their bickering to the next level, fighting and nipping fins and tails and one of them tried to intimidate my jar and then it was WTF!!!!!!???
my jar got into that S shape stand of his and then wham, i was like WTF #@#%###!! and the cats were all settled up haven't seen them fight since yesterday not even during dinner time LOL
MY PEACEMAKER JAR LOL

EDIT: you gotta post some pics of your jar now pwmin

that's funny and awesome. I will try to get some pix soon. It seems to have grown a little bit lately, which it seemed to have stopped earlier, lol. I had the marbled goby on the side w/ the jar all night and the jar never bothered it.

I got the 2 gouramis and tetra in there and the aro is kinda attacking them sometimes. The one damn gourami keeps picking on the other one. Here's a couple new, bad pix.

oh, it's still skittish when I come up to the tank.
yeah, it quit eating FD mini krill and won't eat pellets yet. it will eat shrimp sometimes, but not always, so FD bloodworms is all it really eats, so that's why it's skinny and growing slowly.

I had one that size once upon a time and I managed to get him on Hikari Arowana Sticks and then super worms. Then he really grew fast and got really mean. Good luck to you, I hope you have a nice big tank to put him in sooner then later.
