some sort of vampire tetra.. I could be all wrong here with all these abbriviations fr evrthng it lke a brnd nw languge whr y r jst xpcted 2 kw erthng GAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find it amazing how fish interact. Months ago I put a Dusky Sleeper, RSF Pleco, and a Channel cat in my 55g and the sleeper beat up my channel constantly I would see him bite the channel on the side of the head and not let go. He would also eat everything that entered the tank before the Pleco and channel even went near it. So I decided to put a soap dish suctioned to the side of the tank where the Pleco could maybe find his wafers and eat. The sleeper sits in the soap dish. I actually like my Sleeper, I can hand feed him and pet him. So I didn't seperate them but added more large tubes so the channel had his own tube. Now the funny part is since then I have moved fish in and out and my Sleeper never bothered any other fish. aha but now my channed has outgrown the sleeper and has decided not to be a victim any more so the Sleeper leaves him alone. but what I find even more interesting is the I have introduced an Albino channel that will sit in the soap dish, and now my new cat (forgot his name) also will sit in the soap dish, but they will swim away when the sleeper comes to sit. Ahhhh my Pleco, everyone make way for him wherever he wants to go. Of all the little interactions within I have never seen one fin ripped or scratch on my Sleeper he always looks perfect.

I had one that size once upon a time and I managed to get him on Hikari Arowana Sticks and then super worms. Then he really grew fast and got really mean. Good luck to you, I hope you have a nice big tank to put him in sooner then later.
I should be able to get it on pellets, just want to wait till it gets a little bigger before I starve it. The gouramis and tetra are still fine this morning. I think the problem w/ the tat is that it doesn't fight back or even do anything. The other fish obviously aren't going to fight back, but at least they do something to avoid getting beat up. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I'm going to replace the 55 w/ a 75, so that will be good for a little while. I'd like to get a 300 and put the fish of my 210 in there and use the 210 for the jar and some more aggressive cichlids if it's not TOO mean. I'm not sure if I'll keep it, though, since I got this black aro. I was hoping it would be at least amicable and be able to go in the 210, but IDK at this point.

lol don't feel bad I was wondering what a "tat" was as well :)

i tried tetra fd mini krill again and the jar ate them right up, but it still won't eat Omega One FD mysis shrimp....wth, lol?

yesterday morning, I woke up to the jar being on the other side of the tank with the Tat :WHOA:

this time turned out like the other times before the last, as in the jardini got a torn fin and didn't bother the tat one bit :nilly:
