I agree that it's not within species as its individual fish personalities. Just like humans that there are nice people and bad people that end up as killers or psychopaths. this is not just arowanas but other fish as well.

i agree to the all fish aswell...if it came off as i was limiting it to aros i wasn't...ex i have african cichlids and african peacocks with severums, angels, bala sharks, and knives...my jar was in there till i moved it again to my ray grow out it looks better there...as for the humans this saying sums it up..." guns don't kill people...people kill people...someone could kill someone just as fast with a pencil as a gun"...
 
Nice jar Earl,as you said not all are aggressive, i have done experiment too ;) i kept 5 none seemed to go crazy
 
I got a almost 2 footer jardini in one of my tank with mainly 5 pieces of big endies. No aggression towards them at all.

Previously this jardini was com with my other asia arowana but I decided to have only a all asia arowana com tank thus I shifted it out from there. No aggression from there as well.

There you go boys and girls. Jars are not as mean as everyone thought they are. Again each have their own aggressive level, so lets stop the stereotype that jars are the most aggressive aros as any aro with aggressive personalities can become killers.
 
i would also want to buy a jar and try it in my com! but i'm too afraid! idol talaga kita king! astig!
